UCC implementation in Assam: Muslim organisations seek consultations with government

Muslim groups in Assam want to talk with the government before they bring in the Uniform Civil Code. They feel the government "should not ignore stakeholders" from their community. The Chief Minister said the UCC bill will be presented on May 26 to create one set of laws for everyone.
