U.P. pushes to strengthen sewerage system, prevent river pollution with multi-pronged approach

Uttar Pradesh is really working hard to clean up its rivers, especially the Ganga and Yamuna! They've got 152 Sewage Treatment Plants running now. Anurag Srivastava said, "Uttar Pradesh has taken a major step toward ensuring the cleanliness of major rivers." This means less dirty water will go straight into the rivers.
