Would Kasab have been granted bail over trial delay? Centre to Supreme Court, seeks reference of UAPA bail direction

The government wants the Supreme Court to decide if terror suspects should get bail just because trials are slow. They asked if people like Ajmal Kasab would have been freed if trials took too long. The court is looking at bail for two riot case suspects and will decide soon.
