Ecommerce order volumes up 31% during Independence Day sales

India's ecommerce sector recorded a 31 per cent year-on-year growth in order volumes during the 2026 Independence Day sale period. Data from August 6 to 14 showed a 30 per cent jump in total sales value. Fashion led the volume, while the FMCG segment grew by nearly 100 per cent this year.
