Electronics component projects take investment to Rs 69,500 crore, top target by Rs 10,150 crore

Electronics component projects reached Rs 69,500 crore, exceeding the original target by Rs 10,150 crore. Electronics and IT secretary S Krishnan said the 106 projects will create nearly 10,000 direct jobs. Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw noted 38 projects already started commercial production, as the government works to build a strong domestic manufacturing ecosystem.
