The Indian Film Festival of New Zealand pulled Sayani Gupta’s directorial debut Aasmani from its screening schedule due to a copyright dispute. Festival director Petrina D’Rozario said the move was a precautionary step. Gupta denied the allegations, saying, “I want to begin by clearly stating that Aasmani is an original film.”
