A town in the Netherlands will not let you live there unless you grow food on at least half of your land

Oosterwold is a 4,300 hectare urban experiment in Almere where residents must grow food on half their land. Jan Eelco Jansma said, "This rule is very unique thinking in the world, and makes it also an outstanding area in many ways." This project aims to improve the town's sustainable profile.
