CM announces Rs 1,000-crore flood relief package

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced a Rs 1,000-crore relief package on Tuesday for flood-hit people in six districts. The floods affected nine lakh people across 74 blocks. Majhi said, “After the final assessment, the assistance will be revised in line with the actual damage.” The government is now providing aid.
