Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman asks PSBs to gear up for next phase of banking reforms

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Monday asked public sector banks to prepare for the next phase of banking reforms. She said, “Your NPAs are at the lowest ever Indian banking has seen.” Banks must now use their strong balance sheets to support economic growth and help achieve Viksit Bharat 2047.
