Working on comprehensive rehab plan for flood-hit families: Assam CM

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on August 15, 2026, that the government is preparing a comprehensive rehabilitation plan for flood-hit families. He said, "We are standing beside every flood-affected family and are working with urgency to help them return to normal life." The floods killed 104 people so far.
