Akhilesh: SP can conduct caste census within 3 months if Centre fails

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav said on Sunday that his government would conduct a caste census within three months if the Centre failed to do so. He said, "We want everyone to receive rights and respect according to their numbers." Yadav also promised a new public holiday for Rani Avantibai.
