Britain’s first Sikh fighter pilot since World War II: ‘I want my success to inspire others’

Arshdeep Singh Dang became Britain’s first Sikh fighter pilot since World War II after passing his wings test in July 2026. Born in Chandigarh, he moved to the UK at age six. He said, “I want my success to inspire others.” He now prepares for intense training on front-line jets.
