Calcutta HC refuses relief to Mamata camp, Ritabrata to continue as Bengal LoP

The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday refused to grant interim relief to the Trinamool Congress regarding the Leader of Opposition post. Ritabrata Banerjee will continue in the role until a single judge decides the matter. The court gave the bench two months to review if the Speaker’s appointment was valid.
