Police record BJP councillor's statement over row at Kozhikode corporation

Kozhikode police recorded BJP councillor Navya Haridas’s statement after a row at the corporation office on Independence Day. Chaos started when 13 BJP members sang Vande Mataram while the mayor led the national anthem. Both sides filed complaints against each other. Police said they have not registered formal cases yet.
