Tamil Nadu CM announces higher pensions, aid for freedom fighters, ex-servicemen

Tamil Nadu CM C Joseph Vijay announced higher pensions and aid for freedom fighters and ex-servicemen on Saturday. Marriage assistance for daughters of ex-servicemen will double to ₹50,000. Vijay said, "we are operating as a transparent, truthful and honest administration." The government also plans to expand the school breakfast scheme.
