Union government following anti farmers policies, says Minister

Minister M. B. Patil said on August 16, 2026, that the union government follows anti-farmer policies. He noted that the center waived off huge loans for industrialists but ignored farmers. Speaking in Vijayapura, he said, "Farmers are facing a serious crisis," and urged for better support through local cooperative societies.
