From 21 to 15: Players and coaches weigh badminton's scoring-system overhaul

The Badminton World Federation announced that three games of 15 points will replace the 21-point system starting January 4, 2027. On July 7, the All India Senior Ranking Tournament in Ernakulam started using this new format. While some players adjusted well, coach Vimal Kumar said, "BWF has taken away a significant part."
