China starts removing Microsoft Windows from government systems

China started removing the CMIT version of Windows 10 from government systems as part of a push for tech independence. The software was scheduled for retirement in February 2027. A Microsoft spokesperson said, "Microsoft is not aware of a security incident affecting this product, which continues to receive regular updates."
