Unitree Robotics based its successful robot dogs on innovations funded by the US military. The 2023 Go2 model helped the firm dominate global markets. Gavin Kenneally said the project turned into, "basically, the first Unitree robot that had any kind of scale." Now, the Pentagon lists Unitree as a military contributor.
