No GPS, no camera: This drone targets another just by listening to its rotor sound

Engineers developed a drone called SonicFly that tracks other drones by listening to their rotor sounds. It works without GPS or cameras, using a four-microphone array to capture acoustic signatures. During outdoor tests, the system successfully followed targets with an average error of 1.34 metres, showing how machines can navigate using sound.
