Finland halts deportation of Russian family who ‘risked everything’ to oppose Ukraine invasion

Finland stopped the deportation of Nikita and Olga Belov after a court ordered a review of their asylum case. The Russian family fled to Finland in 2022 to oppose the Ukraine invasion. Bill Browder said the case is “a defining test of Europe’s commitment to protecting those who have risked everything.”
