Myanmar's Min Aung Hlaing heads to Russia to deepen strategic ties with Moscow

Myanmar’s military leader Min Aung Hlaing departed Naypyitaw on Monday for an official visit to Russia. He will meet President Vladimir Putin to discuss economic and security ties. Russia remains a key arms supplier for Myanmar, even as the military government faces international isolation following the 2021 takeover of power.
