UK government to pay KPMG and EY up to £456mn to train civil servants

The UK government will pay KPMG and EY up to £456mn to train civil servants between 2026 and 2028. This deal is the largest awarded to Big Four firms since 2012. Sir Mel Stride said the award showed that Labour’s pledge to cut consultancy spending amounted to "empty words."
